THE NORTH LAKES JUJUTSU ASSOCIATION: is an independent not for profit organisation and as such it is our policy maintain reasonable membership and training fees. We do not make out members sign any financial contracts and details of expected membership and training costs are below.

NLJJA MEMBERSHIP: NLJJA membership includes member-to-member public liability insurance. Membership costs are £30 per annum for adults and £25 per annum for juniors.

TRAINING UNIFORM : Once you decide Jujutsu is for you uniforms are supplied through the club with the NLJJA embroidery on the chest. These suits are a quality pre shrunk suit and cost £20 up to size 3 and £25 for larger suits.

Note that if you already own a plain white training uniform you may use that, however we prefer that you remove any existing badges or patches.

WOODEN TRAINING WEAPONS: Although wooden training weapons are provided for use in the dojo you will need to purchase your own if you decide to travel to any out of town training events. The equipment you will need will be a Bokken (wooden sword), Tanto (wooden knife) and a Hanbo (half staff), if you intend to purchase these please ask for our advice to ensure that you purchase the correct items.

TRAINING FEES: Students have the option of paying for their training on a class to class basis or on a monthly basis via bank standing order. Monthly membership includes the cost of attending all of our regularly scheduled Jujutsu classes. Adult Monthly fees are £35 per month for adults and £20 per month for Juniors. Alternatively cash per-class costs are; £5 per class for adults and £3 per class for Juniors.

EXTRA CURRICULAR TRAINING & GRADING: Please note that charges for extra curricular training courses and rank promotion tests are not included in the monthly training fees.
